Supplier story – why we use White Gold Cheese

As one of our cheese suppliers for multiple years, we love White Gold Cheese for a lot of reasons. One being its traditional take on cheese making — using perfected recipes from Italy’s Molise region Master Cheese Makers.

This local supplier also uses 100 per cent natural Canadian milk, merging the Italian craft of artisan cheese with local ingredients. The result is a beautiful, high-quality Italian cheese, made right here in Calgary.


At Posto, we use White Gold’s fior di latte on our number one pizza, paired with fresh tomato and basil. Next door at Bonterra Trattoria, you will find White Gold ricotta blended into our hand-made gnudi, served with cauliflower cream, brown butter crumbs and candied pecans!
